De-Skunking Home Remedy

One-fourth cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
One teaspoon liquid dishwashing detergent
One quart 3% hydrogen peroxide

Do NOT make up solution ahead of time! Add peroxide at the last minute, and mix it in gently.

Wet the dog down, apply the mixture and work it into the coat. Leave solution on for three-four minutes and then rinse dog thoroughly with tap water.
