     The Quails Inn Hotel at Lake San Marcos is a remote and idyllic hideaway in San Diego's beautiful North County.  Giant pines and stately palm trees blend with flowering hibiscus, birds of paradise and bougainvillea.  Rolling green hills covered with patches of avocado groves create a peaceful backdrop for the shimmering mile long lake.  This lush garden setting is only 30 minutes from downtown San Diego.
