KNAPP RANCH

Chiloquin, Oregon

September 21-23, 2010

Make sure you all save the dates and start making travel plans!!  The California Chessie folks will be heading north and joining up with the Oregon and Washington members of the ACC to host the Field Trial Specialty! It's being held in the Upper Klamath Falls Lake Oregon area, just below scenic Crater Lake National Park.  Although it is a bit remote, it will be well worth the drive.

Chairperson - Jon Knapp  44330 N El Macero Dr, El Macero, CA 95618  530 756-9056  JonKnapp@valtox.com
Co-Chairperson - Julie Cole 7611 South Township Rd, Yuba City, CA 95993   Cell: 530 701-7850   Crackshot@succeed.net

Suggested airport to fly dogs into is Portland which is about 5 hours away or San Francisco area is about 8-9 hours away. Remember to check with the airlines on the size of the aircraft and the size of your crate.  Many planes cannot take an XL crate so be careful when booking your fights.

Although the Chiloquin/Fort Klamath is a beautiful area, being a bit remote, lodging/dining is limited.  The trial will be held on two possible sites.  Both are working cattle ranches (with all that goes along with cows) and are being used as training grounds for the 2010 National Amateur Trial being held in the Klamath Falls area.  The southern site is 25 minutes south of Chiloquin and the northern site is 20 minutes north of Chiloquin.
