NATIONAL SPECIALTY SHOW
"AUCTION"
Let The Bidding Wars Begin!
Put your best paw
forward and help us make the 2011 ACC National Specialty show a
great success. The NSS Auction is an important fund raiser and
always a lot of fun to participate in. We would like to ask for your
contributions to help make it a success and a memorable event for
all.
Suggestions for
auction items: Any type of CBR items, Dog leashes,
collars, toys, gift certificates, Training items, show leads,
bumpers, bait bags, grooming items, special dog treats, water bowls.
Plan on doing a basket representative of your home state, or join in
with other CBR' lovers from your area for a joint state basket.
These are always a big hit. Clothing and apparel items, T-shirts,
sweatshirts, travel bags, Specialty food items, Artwork or
collectibles, small or homemade items. Remember, every little
bit helps. When we work together, there's no limit to what we can
come up with!

Items being
sent to Donna or Deb must be received by September 15, 2011.
Please notify us if you are bringing your donation to the show so
that we can add it to inventory of auction items. We look forward

Special Auction Items
available for Bidding "Live" and
via Cell Phone
Shown below are items that will be available
for sale at the Live Auction on Saturday night, 9-24-11, after the banquet.
All of these will be available for live bidding as
well as bidding via cell phone! These are very special items and we
want them to be available to all Chesapeake owners whether they are
at the national show/banquet or not. Payment for all auction
items this year can be made by credit card, check or cash.
The Exception is: any of the Items sold via bids from people
who are not at the auction and/or via cell phone must be paid
immediately with a credit card over the phone. No
exceptions.
If you are interested in one of these
items, please notify one of the auction chairs (Kelly Case and Deb
Rodden) via email by 9/16/11 and we will contact you the night of
the auction when the item comes up for bidding. Email us your
name, which items you will bid on, your minimum/maximum bids and a
phone contact where we can reach you during the auction. Have
your credit card number available that night.

- This Original Watercolor is the latest in the Michael Steddum series
of historic Chesapeakes and is For Sale at our Auction. It features the "greats"

grand-daughter FC Shagwong Gypsy. Framed & matted with

Dual Champion Sodak’s
Gypsy Prince
Breeder: Rev. Schuster -
Owner: Chesacroft Kennel (A. Bliss)
Trainer: Charles Morgan
“Prince” was the first dual champion retriever of any retrieving
breed. He was the second Chesapeake to make a field title.
Prince was a medium sized deadgrass dog with an intense desire to
work, especially in icy water. He had a lifetime
total of 14 field trial points. Today all field trial Chesapeakes
trace back to Prince through his son Chesacroft Baron *** .
FC Shagwong Gypsy
Breeder: C A Smith -
Owner & Trainer: E. Monroe Osborne
“Gypsy” was the first Chesapeake bitch to earn a field trial
championship (1939). She was the runt of her litter – a royally bred
litter. Her sire was FC Skipper Bob and her maternal grandsire was
Dual Ch Sodak’s Gypsy Prince. Run by
her owner Ed Osborne, Gypsy had 31 Open pts. and ran/completed the
first National Open in 1941.

Print of the above Original Watercolor. It is the #1
print of 100 that are all signed and numbered by the artist
Michael Steddum. What an exciting chance to own the very first
