Announcing

ACC Rescue is a Recipient of the 2024 Westminster Kennel Club’s Breed Rescue Allocation Program

In January, the American Chesapeake Club was selected by the Westminster Kennel Club to be awarded $5,000 to support our ACC Rescue Network services for 2024. American Chesapeake Club Rescue is very grateful for the support of our Chessies in need.

The ACC Rescue Network is very busy and always looking for more volunteers.  Please think about joining us as we work to rescue and re-home our wonderful brown dogs who are in need of a new forever home.  If you are looking for a new family member, please consider adopting a dog through ACC Rescue.  We work to match dogs in the most appropriate home, based upon family dynamics and environmental needs.

Rescue Alumni "Banjo"

This is ACC Alumni Banjo! He is one very lucky dog. Banjo is a tripod. He came into ACC Rescue in need of a home where he would get exercise as he was an active dog even on three legs! He found just the right home! Banjo is described by his new owner and better half as pure joy! They are so happy to have him in their lives. They love his Chessie smile when he’s having a good time. They adopted Banjo on 12/6/2020, best thing to happen to them in 2020 by far. Liane describes him as the sweetest dog you could ever ask for 💕 in her own words…”It’s an honor to be able to give him a furever home!”
