The results of the 2024 Election were announced. As there were no petition candidates,  the slate was elected as presented by the Nominating Committee.

The Board approved the Members Only area of the website last October. This was implemented by the Electronics Communication Group. This has allowed us to make the renewal process more streamlined and user friendly. It also makes less work for our Treasurer. The renewal season will begin in October.  Paper Renewals will be sent out in October, and published in the Bulletin, however Members were encouraged to renew online if possible.

The member only area of the website also allows us to have an online member directory, approved minutes published, open jobs area, announcements, and once all the details have been worked out an online Bulletin archive.

We completed a member survey and received over 317 responses. We will have those results ready for publication this fall. I am pleased to announce that the Health Survey will be released in September. Thank you, Mitchell Horowitz, Veronica Mercer, and Jennifer Martin.

The entire committee for the 2024 National Field Trial and additional volunteers were introduced,    acknowledged and thanked for their service to the club. The Judges were introduced, and Welcomed to the event. The chairperson thanked members for their attendance and participation in the training days and events.

Diane Mazy gave an update on the American Chesapeake Club Charitable Trust.

On motion made, seconded and unanimously approved, the meeting was adjourned at 6:06 PM.

Prepared by Suellen Appellof, reviewed by the Board on October 22, 2024 and filed with the records of proceedings of the corporation.
