Since the mid-seventies, Regional Directors have been responsible for organizing American Chesapeake Club activities for the membership in their areas. RD’s promote Chesapeake activities that accommodate the interests of nearby ACC members and other Chesapeake owners. An RD is not expected to have expertise in everything but should be able to plan various types of events by enlisting experienced people to coach, help, and to share their knowledge with other Chesapeake people.
