ACC Membership Applications:
download
a membership application to join the ACC from the website
www.amchessieclub.org
Please take time to
read through the requirements and procedures in advance before the test date. This
will help you and your dog to be successful and not fail due to handler error.
One important rule to remember is "you cannot send your dog until you
hear the Judge call your number". The judges will go over the basic rules with
everyone quickly before the start of the stake and you can ask a few questions
then if needed. Please have your dogs aired and ready to go before it's your
turn to be called to the holding blind. All dogs must be kept on lead when not
running and must be kept back by the vehicles where they cannot see any of the
tests being run.
Start Time for all Stakes:
8
am - Check-in at 7:15 am to 7:30 am. Signs posted. Test dog at 7:45
am. Then short discussion with the Judges. We have two sets of judges for the
WDX. The WDX water test will start about 9 am. If you pass the WDX land,
the judges will give you the sheet to take to the WDX water to give to the
Marshal there. Go immediately after you run the WDX land to the water test.
(some of you will will need to go to another stake to run land first which is ok then come
back for your water WDX test).
Fees:
ACC Members
$55 for each stake, Non-Members $65 (special rules for non-members, view on
ACC website and WD info). You must be approved as a member by the entry
deadline to use the member fee. Non-Members can run each dog in only one stake
- the WD, X or Q. They would sign an ACC membership application that day (if
not before). You have 30 days only to submit your membership application with
fee for ACC Board approval. If approved as a member, you would then receive
your passing certificate from the ACC WD Program Director. A Non-Member can
run one time only as a non-member. See the Special rules for
Non-Contention dogs with prior titles Pre-Entry Only
Owner of the dog entered must be an ACC member by Entry Deadline to use
the member fee.
**Note: If you are entering the same dog in multiple stakes, you must use a
separate entry form for each stake
Running
Order: a Draw and Running Order will be posted on this website on or
before August 16.
**Note - Bitches in season cannot run and are not to be aired
on the grounds of tests or parking lot areas. Refunds are available. See the
instructions in the WD Rules. Please notify us in writing in advance if you
need to cancel an entry.
